PerfectPACS is the brainchild of Neuroradiologist Dr. David H. Berns, who ventured into teleradiology after years in the private practice, hospital-based radiology. He was frustrated when looking for a highly efficient, yet affordable solution for teleradiology workflow. Dr. Berns discovered that off-the-shelf PACS products do not address the specific needs and challenges of a teleradiology practice.

 

The frustration turned to creation as he teamed up with the Rothman I.T. firm to develop a PACS solution with special emphasis on teleradiology workflow, designed by a radiologist for radiologists. Specifically, PerfectPACS is designed to create a highly efficient teleradiology process scaleable to a multi-radiologist, multi-facility, multi-modality environment.

Routing rules allow for seamless distribution of images. Transcription management is easily tracked. Reports are made available online regardless of age and formatting changes are easily made. One staff member can manage the entire process from one work station. PerfectPACS is highly sophisticated, yet user friendly for physicians, staff members and I.T. support staff.
